Our small group sessions (2–10 participants) are designed to be fun, supportive, and results-driven. Sessions can take place in a private studio, permitted public space, or client location within Boulder County, following a safety and equipment review.

General Training

  • Each trainer on the Black & Bould team is fully certified, experienced, and aligned with our holistic approach to fitness. Our team includes nationally certified personal trainers and nutrition coaches with diverse backgrounds in athletics, wellness, and coaching.

  • Yes. Every new client begins with a complimentary consultation to discuss goals, assess current fitness levels, and ensure we design the right program for you. For online coaching, this is conducted virtually.

1:1 Personal Training

  • Personal training provides focused attention, customized programming, and ongoing accountability. You’ll receive hands-on guidance, motivation, and adjustments to ensure progress toward your personal goals.

  • Yes. For at-home training, we’ll perform an equipment and safety inspection before your first session. If adjustments are needed, we can adapt your plan to bodyweight or low-equipment workouts until your setup is ready.

  • Each program is custom-built based on your consultation, fitness assessment, and goals. We consider lifestyle, limitations, and preferences to create a plan that’s both effective and sustainable.

Nutrition Coaching

  • Our nutrition coaching offers personalized guidance and strategies to help you make informed, sustainable food choices. We focus on building habits that support your training, energy levels, and long-term health goals.

  • No. We don’t believe in rigid diets or one-size-fits-all approaches. Our goal is to help you develop a balanced relationship with food that fits your lifestyle while supporting your well-being.

Small Group Training

  • Small group sessions are perfect for those who enjoy accountability, energy, and connection. Groups typically include 2–10 participants and can be made up of friends, family, colleagues, or others seeking a motivating, community-based workout experience.

  • We can bring training to you. Before the first session, we’ll conduct a mandatory equipment and space inspection to ensure everything is safe and functional.

  • Yes. Each session is designed to accommodate a variety of fitness levels. Exercises can be scaled to match experience and ability while maintaining group cohesion and energy.

Online Coaching

  • Online coaching begins with a virtual consultation and fitness assessment. From there, we design a customized training plan (typically 10 weeks or 6 months) that you can follow at your own pace. You’ll receive regular check-ins, live video sessions, and continuous communication for guidance and accountability.

  • No specialized equipment is required. We’ll design your plan based on what you already have access to, whether that’s a home gym, minimal equipment, or just bodyweight movement.

  • We establish clear benchmarks and methods for tracking progress, including digital tracking tools and regular check-ins. These sessions help us adjust your program as needed to ensure consistent, measurable growth.
